What is the Good Till Triggered (GTT) feature?

TradeJini’s Good Till Triggered (GTT) feature is a valuable tool designed to give you more control over your trades. Here’s what you need to know:

How GTT Works:

– GTT orders remain active until the trigger condition is met, with a validity of one year.

– A limit order is placed and executed if there are sufficient funds in your TradeJini account.

– Notifications are sent to your registered email ID and mobile device each time a GTT is triggered, and an order is placed on the exchange.

Trigger Validity:

The trigger is valid only once. If the order is triggered but not executed, you’ll need to place the GTT order again.

Types of GTT Orders:

Single Trigger:

A single trigger is set, and the order is placed at the exchange when the Last Traded Price (LTP) matches or breaches the trigger price.

This can be used for entering new positions or exiting existing ones.

One Cancels the Other (OCO) Trigger:

Both stop loss and target triggers can be set in an OCO trigger.

When either of the triggers is hit, the order is placed at the exchange, and the other trigger is canceled.

Key Information:

GTT is completely free and comes with no additional charges.

Sell GTT orders triggered on equity holdings need to be authorized using CDSL TPIN. This is not applicable if POA or DDPI is submitted.

Additional Points:

GTT can be placed at any time of the day, but orders will be triggered and placed only during market hours.

TradeJini’s dealing desk does not support GTT; clients must place, cancel, or modify GTT orders independently.

Order history for triggered GTT is visible only on the day it is triggered and will not reflect from the next day.

One account can have a maximum of 250 active GTTs simultaneously.

GTTs for shares with corporate actions affecting more than 5% of market value are canceled on the ex-date/record date.

GTT is available only for CNC and NRML product types.

If a stock changes the category with a pending GTT order, it is canceled.

GTT orders are triggered even if a stock opens with a gap up or down, having breached the trigger price.

Buy GTT OCO can only be placed in F&O contracts.

Only NRML order types can be used in GTT OCO for index futures and options.
