Why are clients unable to buy a stock on CubePlus even if it is trading on the exchange?
This issue may arise when a particular stock has been shifted from one series to another, and an order is attempted in a series where the stock is not currently traded.
If you encounter the following error: “RMS: Lt rate not found for rule: Check price based on LTP for Buy and Sell Orders for entity account-[ID] across exchange across segment across product,” it indicates that you are trying to place an order for a stock in a series it is not currently trading in.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
Identify the Current Series/Group:
Visit the NSE or BSE website to check the current series/group in which the stock is trading.
For instance, if a stock like Apex Frozen Foods was moved from BE series to EQ, it is currently trading in the EQ series.
Verify on NSE or BSE Website:
Confirm the series/group of the stock on the NSE or BSE website, typically under the ‘series’ header.
Place Order in the Correct Series:
When placing an order in your trading terminal, ensure that you choose the current series under which the stock is actively trading.
In the given example, if Apex Frozen Foods is now in the EQ series, you should place the order for APEX-EQ, which might appear simply as APEX in the market watch.
This will help you avoid order rejections and the error mentioned.
