Why did Tradejini send an email requesting KYC details to be updated?
If there is no trading activity in your Tradejini account for 24 consecutive months, it is considered inactive according to NSE and BSE circulars. In such cases, Tradejini initiates additional due diligence and marks these accounts for Re-KYC (Know Your Customer). To reactivate your account, you simply need to verify your KYC details.
If your account has been inactive for 12 months, Tradejini will consider your account as inactive, but you can easily reactivate it by dropping us an email at help@tradejini.com.
However, if your account remains inactive beyond the 24-month mark, a Re-KYC process becomes mandatory for reactivation.
To summarize,
1. If your account has no trades for a consecutive period of 12 months upto 24 months – An email stating “Reactivate my account, there is no change in my demographic and KYC details” to help@tradejini.com will suffice.
2. If your account has no trades for a consecutive period exceeding 24 months – online Re-KYC process to be completed providing the necessary details as requested.
