How to set up 2FA to log in to CubePlus Web?

Here’s how you can enable 2 Factor Authentication on the Web platform:

First Factor of Authentication:
On Web platforms, biometric is not used as a factor of authenticatin, and therefore inputting your password is mandatory as the first factor of authentication. By doing this you have set up knowledge based authentication factor as the first factor of authentication.

Second Factor of Authentication:

Option 1 – Using the App code avaiable on your CubePlus App –

On trying to sign in to your CubePlus Web, an app code is automatically generated on your CubePlus App which will pop up on the screen post logging into CubePlus App. In case the app code is not visible as a pop up you can follow the following steps:

Step 1: Log in to CubePlus App and tap on the “User ID” tab at the bottom right (three dots).

Step 3: Navigate to “Account” and then select “App Code”

Step 4: An App Code will be instantaneously generated which is valid for 30 seconds only. This App code can be used to login to your CubePlus Web.

Option 2 – Enabling TOTP using external authenticator apps –

Step 1: Download Google Authenticator/Any third party authenticator app and add it as an extention on your browser.

Step 2: Log in to CubePlus Web and tap on “User ID” tab at the top right (with your initials).

Step 3: Navigate to “Settings” and then under the Security settings select “TOTP QR Code.”

Step 4: An OTP will be sent to your registered E-mail ID, input the OTP and verify.

Step 5: A QR Code will be generated or in case the QR is not generated or is not working, you can tap on “Copy the Secret Key.”

Step 6: Pin the Authenticator from the list of extentions.

Step 7: Open the Authenticator from the bookmarks tab. On the top right hand side, press on the Scan QR code and scan the code on your CubePlus platform.

Done! You’ll now be able to use the Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) code on your web browser. By doing this you have set up possession based authentication factor as the second factor of authentication.
