How to link a bank account while opening a Tradejini account?

At Tradejini, we’ve made it easy for you to link your bank account when opening your account. You can do it using either an UPI App, UPI ID, IFSC Code or with your bank account number.

Link using UPI app (Recommended and faster):

Just scan the QR code using your UPI app, and an automatic penny drop will be activated and your bank account details will be auto captured.

Link using UPI ID:

Enter your Virtual Payment Address (VPA) or UPI ID.
Accept the terms and conditions.
Click on “Verify UPI-ID.”
Click on “Continue.”
If the UPI ID validation fails, you’ll see an error message. In this case, you can validate your bank account using an alternative UPI ID or the IFSC code.

Link using IFSC:

Enter your bank’s IFSC code.
Select your bank’s Name (if available) from the drop-down menu.
Enter your bank account number.
Confirm your bank account number.
Click on “Continue.”

We’ll verify the IFSC and UPI ID with your bank records through a process known as a “penny drop .” This involves a small amount ( ₹1) being debited from your bank account to fetch your bank details.

If the penny drop verification fails or the score is unsatisfactory, don’t worry. You can upload a self attested bank proof in the next step. This proof can be one of the following: a personalized cancelled cheque leaf with your name printed on it, or a bank statement, or a bank passbook copy with your bank account number, bank logo, seal, MICR, and IFSC code clearly visible.

Notes:

Sometimes the Bank Name may not appear in the drop-down menu for a few reasons, like if you entered ‘zero’ instead of ‘O’ in the IFSC or vice versa, or if the IFSC is not valid. If the IFSC is not in our records, you can create a support ticket along with your bank proof, and we’ll update your bank details within 72 working hours. You can link your bank account once the IFSC is updated.
