Why are there live ticks on a Saturday?

On one Saturday each month, as per the exchange’s schedule, there is a mock trading session. This session serves as a test for brokers to evaluate and ensure the smooth functioning of their trading infrastructure. Additionally, it provides an opportunity to test new products, systems, and conduct contingency drills. As a result, live ticks are visible on CubePlus during this mock session.

It’s important to note that during the mock session, the displayed value of your holdings or positions is based on the mock-trading prices. This might lead to temporary inaccuracies in the Market watch, including incorrect prices and holdings values. However, by the end of the session, the system will be updated with the closing prices from the preceding Friday.
